MBX Systems, based in Wauconda, IL, is an international developer, manufacturer and distributor of server appliances and custom-built servers via telephone and face-to-face sales.

Requirements:
You must have a minimum of five to seven years supervisory experience directing the efforts of a technical staff. You will be required to interact effectively with all levels of management and our customer base as well.
Management Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supervise four to six platform engineers and a cad engineer.
• Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs, new and existing product construction and testing.
•Manage and direct platform engineers to provide technical advice to the sales force to resolve product or service requests regarding hardware and/or software issues.
• Willingness to join line workers to assist manufacturing at anytime.
•Select, develop, train and supervise technical staff.
Technical Duties and Responsibilities
•Captures initial customer requirements from prototyping through release to manufacturing.
•Handles 10-30 new platforms and existing platform redesigns released per month.
•Manages and coordinates product development projects.
•Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues.
•Reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development.
Candidates for this position must have:
•Linux and related O/S Knowledge
•Server Hardware Experience
•Experience managing CAD Designers / Mechanical Designers
•Strong Management / Leadership / Innovative Skills
Technical Skills and Requirements
•Strong background in computer hardware and specifically servers, Intel and AMD based.
•Computer hardware literacy/experience required.
•Experience with “release to manufacturing” process, documentation and training.
•Strong experience in time management and project management.
Educational Skills and Requirements
•Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
•Experience in EM Leadership, Capital Planning/Forecasting, Regulatory Compliance, Engineering/Equipment Standards, Cost Management, New Installations, Innovation, Asset Replacement, Quality and Safety. Background or experience in electronic engineering and mechanical engineering.
•Experience with product safety and certification testing processes and requirements.
•Experience or background with mechanical design.
