MBX Systems, based in Wauconda IL, is an international developer, manufacturer and distributor of server appliances via telephone and face-to-face sales. Since 1995, we have prided ourselves on personalized service and support of our customers and our products.

The foundation for everything we do is geared towards building our customers into Raving Fans. Our customers include software developers, OEM’s, ISV's and other companies looking for a quality server appliance contract manufacturer.

Requirements:

What you will be doing:
•Work closely with sales and engineering colleagues to develop state of the art server appliances.
• Work closely with a team to develop and configure hardware and software needed to produce industry leading appliances and related devices that delight our customers.
•Help lead the manufacture and assembly of the prototype components and equipment.
•Create and maintain the technical/manufacturing documentation used in production.

Experience/Skills Needed:
• College degree or minimum 2 years experience in related field.
• A strong background in the use and application of Linux - including CentOS, RedHat, Fedora, and Debian - script writing, hardware configuration and software applications.
• A deep knowledge of Linux and Windows tools used to configure and optimize processor, MotherBoard, HDD, RAID, NIC, BIOS, and video performance.
•A demonstrated working knowledge of using network and server communication hardware, protocols and applications.
•Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with key customers and technical resources to create computer appliance products that make them our Raving Fans

Helpful to Have:
•Proficiency with configuring Server, Network, as a well as Desktop hardware.
•Experience with data collections and manipulations using SQL, Spreadsheets, XML, HTML, and JAVA databases.
•An understanding of quality control and computer assembly methods
•Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
•Experience in successfully working with outside suppliers and producers
