MBX Systems, based in Wauconda IL, is an international developer, manufacturer and distributor of server appliances and purpose-built servers.

The foundation for everything we do is geared towards building our customers into Raving Fans. Our customers include software developers, OEM’s, ISV's and other companies looking for a quality server appliance contract manufacturer.

We have been experiencing tremendous growth in the server appliance/private label marketplace and are looking for the right individual to join our team of 3 other talented developers.

Our team works on development challenges internally and externally. We design most of the software that powers our business as well as all of our customer facing applications such as our portal, and our data exchange suites known as Pigeon and Mink.

All applications are web based (currently using jQuery and ColdFusion) with a strong emphasis on elegant and intuitive user interface. The team is also looking to move our future development into Ruby on Rails.

Requirements:

Abilities You MUST have:

• Programming, UI and database experience
• Strong ability to pick up and learn new languages and technologies

Experience with at least 2 of any of the following:
• Ruby on Rails
• ColdFusion
• Java
• PHP
• C / C++
• Python

Technologies you will be using on the job:

• ColdFusion 9
• Large amounts of RIA / AJAX using jQuery
• Microsoft SQL
• MySQL
• Database layout and advanced query writing
• HTML, CSS
• JavaScript
• J2EE
• Ruby on Rails
• Object Relational Mappin
