Customer expectations for appliances are that they will work right out of the shipping carton. Every time. MBX agrees, which is why we’ve built a manufacturing operation that assures quality while accounting for all the variables that can upset other programs.
MBX works closely with our partners to assure the integrity of the appliances we build. Internal photos and documentation are created before the units are released into production. Once the build document is created, it is provided to all our technicians to assure that every unit is built consistently with the others. Should a change in manufacturing be required, the document will be revised and signed off on by the customer before implementing the change. The revision will also be noted in the customers build instructions for future reference.
MBX will use customer-supplied software images and apply them to each appliance as it is assembled. In instances where software is updated, MBX will store the older version(s) in case it needs to be reverted later.
Each unit can be assigned a serial number based on your requirements and protocols. These numbers can be adhered to the unit or integrated as part of the permanent structure. MBX will then track shipment data against each serial number to help track the appliance throughout its lifecycle.
In addition to MBX’s extensive, standard quality control (QC) program you can also specify checks within the process that will become part of your permanent checklist.
If required by a custom appliance, MBX will develop custom rail install guides to aid installation.
MBX will provide in-depth, customized documentation on production units that shows all bill of materials (BOM) and QC requirements have been met. We can provide a detailed report that shows the procedures being followed, along with pictures of how production units look throughout the entire build process.
All access data to the appliances is stored on our secure servers, avoiding the leaks that can lead to hacking and other product problems.
Landing the big sale is always a good thing. But fulfilling it can be a challenge. MBX will work with you and your customers to deliver large-scale orders (500 to 1,000+ appliances) on a schedule that works for both of you. We will also help you structure the cash flow to avoid tying up too much operating capital all at once.
