Company Culture – Why Does it Matter?
While there are many ways to define a company’s culture, we describe ours as the spirit of our employees that, in turn, shapes our work atmosphere and enjoyment. It’s the vibe that permeates our organization that we intentionally cultivate so we always want to work together and support one another to get the job done right. Ultimately, our culture influences our success at attracting talented new employees, building strong customer relationships, and fueling our ongoing business success, so we protect and promote our culture across every department and at every level in our organization.
The secret sauce to keeping our culture lively and enjoyable is not so secret if you spend a few minutes looking at the MBX Facebook page. You’ll see us eating together at quarterly All Company Meetings, playing together during Employee Appreciation Week, planting together in our Community Garden, learning together at Show ‘n Tells, volunteering together through MBX Cares, plus enjoying a calendar full of other activities our Culture Committee and philanthropy coordinator plan throughout the year.
